some years ago, eight or so
a warm early fall day
leaves turning colors acorns yellow and brown
just an easy saunter gait trail of boulders
and a stopping in my track then an internal voice saying
‘time will reverse itself’.
to understand we must think to define
time and itself
time – a period an age defined by the day’s technology
and what of the present run with electronics
so there is going to be a future dystopian period
the power grid across the national borders may fail or
is it even larger, perhaps a super duper solar flare
perhaps cell phone radiation or terrorist attack
in any case a reversal of technologies but how severe
is unknown. this may not happen but the voice
is yet to be false.
